Renseignez-vous bien avant de d\u00e9penser de l\u2019argent sur ces traitements. <br \/><br \/><strong>Ne vous d\u00e9couragez pas, il y a quand m\u00eame des solutions pour vous ! <\/strong><br \/><br \/>Commencez par rendre visite \u00e0 vos professionnels de sant\u00e9 pour tenter de d\u00e9terminer la cause de votre acouph\u00e8ne. Pour certaines causes, il est possible de traiter un acouph\u00e8ne (ex. probl\u00e8me de cou, probl\u00e8me dentaire, etc.). Toutefois, la majorit\u00e9 du temps, il n\u2019y a pas de cause pr\u00e9cise \u00e0 l\u2019acouph\u00e8ne autre que la perte d\u2019audition. Si vous avez un acouph\u00e8ne et que vous apprenez que vous avez une perte auditive, votre meilleure solution est de commencer par corriger votre surdit\u00e9. <\/p>\n<p>On peut comparer le duo acouph\u00e8ne\/surdit\u00e9 \u00e0 une chandelle dans une pi\u00e8ce sans lumi\u00e8re. Votre acouph\u00e8ne est la chandelle et votre surdit\u00e9 est la pi\u00e8ce sans lumi\u00e8re. Si on a une chandelle allum\u00e9e dans une pi\u00e8ce sombre, on remarquera rapidement la flamme de cette chandelle. Si on allume la lumi\u00e8re de la pi\u00e8ce, on voit soudainement beaucoup moins la flamme de la chandelle. Elle est pourtant toujours l\u00e0. C\u2019est exactement le m\u00eame principe avec votre acouph\u00e8ne. Plus vous \u00eates dans un environnement silencieux, plus vous l\u2019entendez et plus il vous d\u00e9range. Au contraire, si vous \u00eates dans un environnement avec du son, des distractions, vous ne l\u2019entendrez presque plus.<\/p>\n<p>Si vous avez une surdit\u00e9, tentez de porter des appareils auditifs. En corrigeant votre perte auditive, il y a beaucoup de chances que vous n\u2019entendiez presque plus votre acouph\u00e8ne. Il y a m\u00eame des appareils auditifs qui produisent un petit bruit de fond pour camoufler le son de votre acouph\u00e8ne. Vous pouvez aussi enrichir votre environnement sonore\u202f: mettre de la musique, allumer la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision, faire marcher un ventilateur, etc. Bref, d\u00e9tournez votre attention sur autre chose que votre acouph\u00e8ne, mais attention au niveau sonore ! But, when the room is dark (quiet listening environment), the candle flame becomes very bright and stands out amidst the dark surroundings. In both cases, the candle is still burning therefore the flame is present. The only thing that changes is the environment in which you are viewing the candle. This effect is very similar for people with hearing loss and\/or tinnitus in that it is more or less noticeable depending on the environment you are in. You will be more aware of your tinnitus when you are in a quiet place where there are minimal distractions compared to a noisy, complex environment like a friend\u2019s party. In a similar but opposite sense, you may not be experiencing any hearing difficulties in a quiet environment but as soon as you enter a loud and busy restaurant, it becomes much harder to hear and follow the conversations around you. If you have a hearing loss hearing aids are a great first step in combating tinnitus. When you wear hearing aids that are correctly programmed for your hearing loss, the additional auditory stimulation from this amplification will help to \u2018lighten the room\u2019 so to speak so the tinnitus is less noticeable. There are even hearing aids that have a special program that produces some background noise (white noise, ocean sounds) to camouflage the sound of your tinnitus. If you choose not to try hearing aids or it isn\u2019t appropriate for you, you can try to enrich your listening environments to make them more complex in order to help camouflage your tinnitus. Turning on some music, the television, or even a noise machine can be helpful to divert your attention to something more pleasant than your tinnitus. Remember to always listen at a safe and comfortable volume so as not to damage your hearing! As a rule, you should be able to have a conversation with someone without too much trouble over the music\/tv\/noise machine. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!
