Meet Your Oticon Medical Team

We’re thrilled to share some exciting updates from Oticon Medical Canada! Not only do we have a growing team and a brand-new webpage for candidates, but we also want to hear from YOU!

As we continue to expand, your feedback and insights are invaluable to us. Your experiences and suggestions help shape the future of our products and services. Oticon Medical remains dedicated to our mission of improving the quality of life for individuals with hearing loss, and we are excited about the future of the Ponto™ bone anchored hearing system (BAHS).

Meet Your Oticon Medical Canada Team

Daniel Lee, Director of Oticon Medical Canada, left clinical practice in 2020 to join the Oticon Medical Team where he supported both Ponto and cochlear implant users. He now heads up the Oticon Medical business in Canada, but still loves to strike up conversations with hearing implant users and their families. Daniel enjoys all things food as well as family hikes with his goldendoodle puppy.

Siiri Fortey, Senior Customer Service and Administrative Specialist, joined Oticon in early 2015, moving over to work with Oticon Medical in 2017, where she continues to provide the very best in client service. A mother of 3 boys, she enjoys baking, gardening and raising animals on her hobby farm.

Laurel Palmer, Clinical Support and Business Development Manager, Eastern Canada is an audiologist with years of experience in public health settings. Outside the realm of audiology, she finds joy in dancing and traveling, infusing her pursuits with artistry and passion. Now focusing on bone anchored solutions, she enjoys blending her clinical expertise with creativity and innovation.

Hugh McCormack, Clinical Support and Business Development Manager, Western Canada was born in Ireland and has worked in audiology in the UK, Ireland, and Canada. He obtained his Master’s degree in Audiology from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. Upon completion of his MSc, Hugh worked as a Clinical Audiologist with the NHS in Edinburgh. Hugh moved to Vancouver in 2018 and in 2023, he accepted his current role with Oticon Medical.
